Who We Are…
The Office of the Treaty Commissioner (OTC) fosters understanding and collaboration between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. Established in 1989, it promotes reconciliation, treaty education, and empowers communities. The OTC facilitates dialogue, builds relationships, and celebrates Indigenous cultures while addressing historical injustices. Committed to positive change, the OTC advances the spirit and intent of treaties.
